The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Wish I got this sooner! No more annoying requests
Just found and installed this, working well so far! Thankyou! The cookie consent messages are one of the most retarded, annoying, unnecessary things on the web, it literally helps no one. If anyone thinks that clicking or not clicking "ok" on those little popups that block your view of pages is protecting your privacy in any way, they are a moron
I give it 3 stars simply because I mostly don't know it is up and functioning as I roam the Web. HOWEVER, I still don't know exactly what it does. Not a very good description. For example, on sites I frequent and that I like, is this extension blocking cookies there, too?

OMG. What is the point deleting cookies, if you use closed-source extension that could breach your privacy.
