The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Thanks! "Cookies" law is a really stupid.
A real time saver, time is very important.
Une extension bien pratique. Malheureusement elle provoquait des fuites de mémoires sur certains site web (notamment korben.info) qui finissaient par prendre jusqu'à 1 GB en mémoire... Je l'ai donc désinstallée et les sites en question ne posent plus de problème. À réessayer, peut-être que le souci a été corrigé.

Everytime I find myself browsing the internet on tablet (or phone) without this extension, I want to pull my hair out of my head out of a pure frustration about these cookie warning bombardments on every single site! They're even worse than ads! Thank you for this cookie killer! :-)
