The EU regulations require that any website using tracking cookies must get user's permission before installing them. Imagine how irritating that becomes when you surf anonymously or if you delete cookies automatically every time you close the browser.
In most cases, it just blocks or hides cookie related pop-ups. When it's needed for the website to work properly, it will automatically accept the cookie policy for you (sometimes it will accept all and sometimes only necessary cookie categories, depending on what's easier to do). It doesn't delete cookies.

Oh god. You truly don't appreciate this extension until you've used it for over a year, switched browsers to one that doesn't have it, and see just how many sites show that F*@#$%# banner/popup/notification. I will never take this extension for granted ever again. I love you Daniel Kladnik.
Ta ocena zależy tylko od tego, czy ta wtyczka robi to, co mam nadzieję, że robi. Mianowicie mam pytanie do autora, czy wtyczka ta usuwając komunikaty o ciasteczkach, usuwa tylko komunikat, czy go automatycznie odklikuje za użytkownika, jednocześnie zgadzając się za niego na instalację ciasteczek. Jeśli to pierwsze, to must have dla każdego świadomego użytkownika! Bardzo proszę o odpowiedź autora, będę wdzięczny.

I would rate it 6 stars if it would also send an email to each member of the EU parliament asking for an update of that nonsense law. I am for privacy but the current form of the law looks like it was designed in hell.
