This is super useful to me! Thanks for bringing this to our live.
This was great, until it stopped working suddenly! I had stopped wasting time on Facebook altogether but today, with no explanation, my newsfeed came back on and all hell broke loose! No matter, I installed the feminist news feed eradicator instead - also excellent!

I'm SO happy with News Feed Eradicator and that they noticed my message to modify it to work for web.facebook.com as well!! Yay for awesome customer support! Although at the moment, the app is being a bit buggy and the quotes aren't showing up at all for me. Still, I am super super grateful for News Feed Eradicator!! :)
This was something I was looking for a couple years ago and was finally just going to build it myself until I found that it exists now and it's doing exactly what I need it to do!
It works nicely! I decided I didn't want the quote either, so I'm looking for a different extension. But 5 stars anyway, in case you are the kind of person to wants the quote.
I needed something to stop myself from pointlessly browsing through the rubbish that comes onto the news feed. However, I also wanted to keep my contacts from facebook, especially for groups and private messages. This is exactly what I was looking for. Well done developers!
