Total scam by Google. I opted out several days ago, and the targeted ads stopped, with only mainstream ads continuing. This morning, I went to a web site to purchase staples for our copy machine. Now I'm getting ads from THAT website trying to sell me staples. Google should be ashamed for letting their users believe that this opt-out procedure actually works, but that would be like expecting Brian Williams to be ashamed for lying to millions of his viewers. Oh, that's right - he didn't lie, at some point in time, he just didn't tell the truth. I guess we're supposed to believe that there's a difference? Google must have "conflated" opting-out with opting-in. How very convenient.

Fonctionne parfaitement. Cela ne sert pas à retirer la pub mais à ne plus avoir de pub "ciblée". Quand vous faites une recherche google sur un produit (un téléphone par exemple) vous remarquerez que, juste après, les pubs des pages google et autres vous affichent des promos sur le fameux téléphone. c'est à cela que sert le cookie doubleclick. Cet addon retire ce cookie . Vous aurez donc toujours des pubs mais elles ne seront plus basées sur vos différentes recherches et visites du web.
De nada adiantou, acho até que piorou, está aparecendo anuncio que eu ainda não tinha visto.
