Wow! It just stopped working 3 days ago! Until then, I didn't have any ads in my gmail. Then two days ago, BAM, blasted with ads, some in a format that I'd never seen before. I checked my extensions. Yep, the app is still enabled. But Google just found a way to get around it, I guess.
