so far , so great, slide editing experience is nice.
Standard half-assed job I expect for any 'desktop' product Google pushes out. It doesn't work, period. Compatibility is a mess, it will mangle your document if it has even the simplest of formatting. The implementation makes no sense at all, as you have to drag the file into a browser window. Google, if you want to be taken seriously in the workplace you need to start making native applications, Chrome is NOT sufficient, and it never will be. Google Apps is a decent value for the mail/contacts/calendar services, but Drive and Hangouts are disasters thanks to your insistence on the browser and Google+ integration.
Using Chrome OS. When I open documents from my drive in the web interface I get nothing. If I open the same file via the Files App I can open the file in the editor.
For something Google made sound awesome in the press releases, the implementation (and lack of instructions ANYWHERE on how it works) leaves way too much to be desired. Nothing I did could make this work - not dragging and dropping a file, not opening a file in GMail, not right-clicking, and forget about the most obvious one - opening a file that already existed in Drive. The lack of iOS support for the upgrade also is disappointing. Developers need to be platform-aware enough to know that today's users mix and match across the board. One reviewer says we have to wait for the new Drive platform to roll out. I hope that solves a lot of the frustration people are having.
MUITO LIMITADO!!!
Does not work with Drive!!!
Come on Google!! This Extention does not work how you say it should. Only way to edit a .doc or .xlsx is to drag the doc into a Chrome tab. Then you can edit it but it does not appear to have all the functionality. I so want this to work seamlessly because I am trying to make a break from using MS Products for all my users but you are making this very difficult. Please quit buying up every single technology on this earth and only doing it half assed!! Focus on one thing and make it great! Guess that is why I am a Apple Fan Boy!!
Aucune icone -> impossible à ouvrir
Google you need to preserve the metadata for when a file was originally created. This information is lost when uploading to google drive.. come on guys..
После открытия doc документов в Документах Google редактировать их по прежнему нельзя.
