It does not work as described ("Office files that you [...] open in Gmail, Google Drive, and more, will be opened in Docs, Sheets, and Slides for viewing and editing."). It only opens files that are drag into Chrome from the desktop or Explorer, which is not the most natural thing to do. It does not even support right-click open. Right direction, but not a finished feature yet.
Wenn ich Office Dokumente öffne, werden diese nur im Viewer angezeigt. Von dort aus habe ich nur die Möglichkeit diese mit Docs zu öffnen (und zu konvertieren). Habe es bisher nicht geschafft, das Office-Dokument direkt im Bearbeitungsmodus zu öffnen. EDIT: Es ist momentan nur möglich, wenn man Dokumente per Drag & Drop in den Browser zieht. Direkt aus Google Drive öffnen klappt (noch) nicht. Bitte korrigieren/nachbessern! ;-)
Solo funciona si se arrastran archivos desde el PC al Chrome. Lo que ya esté en el correo o en Drive se abre con el visor predeterminado.
It doesn't open docx in Drive. The local docx I opened lost its format and the table of contents was missing. Nevertheless, good attempt. I hope it will be better in the future.
I can not find any way of making this extension work on MS Doc files stored in Google Drive, am I missing something? It works if I drag a MS Doc from my desktop into Chrome but then the Doc loses the formatting. Good try, but unfortunately it still needs a lot of work for it to become useful.
Not working with Docs in Google Drive. Works fine when I drag a .docx document in to Chrome Super excited with this development!! Good work Dev's

MS Office online намного функциональнее. Google Doc чисто для того что б заметки на полях сделать.
Непонятно, как работает. Всё по-прежнему.
What is with the formatting? I try I print and the page is cut in half!
