This CSS-only extension hides most persistent generative AI elements from Google properties, including Search, Docs, Drive, and GMail. Note that this extension only hides UI elements; it does not affect any backend calls or disable the product in its entirety. To avoid potential compatibility issues, it does not attempt to hide one-time promotional messages (like the first time “try using Gemini for X” popups) and only focuses on hiding the main persistent UI elements that activate the product.
Current limitations:
- Cannot hide elements within the Google Docs (e.g. the “help me write” that appears on a blank Document)
- Cannot hide things in Google Earth (it’s all one big )
- Probably more? Feedback appreciated. Many of the items that I’ve hidden were first reported by users like you!

Totalement inutile, ne sert à rien. Tout le temps être obligé de manipuler manuellement. C'est pas l'intérêt. Ne le prenez pas surtout.
Google has become utterly unusable without using this, as Google and its various programs have gone from essential to worthless and useless, crammed full of AI nobody asked for and nobody wants to use. Hiding Gemini is the only way people can actually get stuff done.
Great initiative, if it could block more annoying buttons e.g. inside sheets it would be even better. But clearly works as described, fully appreciated, thanks a lot!!

Works like a dream! I got so annoyed when my Google Docs got Gemini autoinstalled, and it kept on suggesting phrases and refining text – now the whole thing is gone.

Works as advertised. Thank you. I hope google takes note; give people the freedom to control UX, rather then forcing gemini on eveeryone, without consent, just to gather user info/data...
I practically got up and danced when I found this. Removed all the annoying Gemini stuff thats recently been plaguing google workspace. Two thumbs up!
Removes annoying experimental generative AI in search that is wrong more often than not and wastes time finding the actual answers. Well done.
