This was an amazing extension to family history taking it to a whole different level but unfortunately the hope chest has stopped showing up on my toolbar in family search. Probably due to a recent update :/ I hope future updates fix this and continue to make it a more accurate tool to use in family history. CHECK FOR DUPLICATES EVERYONE!

Eric, Thanks for all of your time and talents in providing this Chrome add on for FREE. I am excited for your Pro Version to come out, I am sure it will be an answer to our prayers. An example on how well Hope Chest works: I searched the Descendancy View in Family Tree for one of my ancestor's descendants who was born in 1720. It took me 5 hours to find 352 "Green Temple Icons". Hope chest was able to find the same people in less than 40 minutes. Even better was that Hope Chest eliminated most all of the duplicates. Great add on to allow more time to research the names found! Hope Chest does extremely well in going down your ancestor descendant lines to find temple opportunities for "Cousins" that may or may not qualify to reserve temple ordinances. To do this manually is next to impossible. Just trying to keep track of what you have done and not done is mind blowing. Thanks for this tremendous aid! I understand that when FamilySearch.org makes a change (...and changes happens frequently) this has an effect on Hope Chest and you may need to make some adjustments to get it back up and going. Thanks for your time and efforts as this is not you main job or focus in your busy life.

I love this program. I have used it extensively. It is very helpful at finding effective places to go to work in family history. My one complaint is that sometimes it just disappears. It will stay gone for a while, then mystically reappear later. I have tried many things to prevent it from going or recover it when it leaves. Nothing seems to work. It is random and arbitrary. This happens on both PC and MAC. Please make it work. I miss it when it is done.

I Loved the program, but with the recent update that I got, there is no more scrolling function. I need that function because I don't want to remove names from my chest, but that makes it so that I can only look at the same 6 names.

This app is fantastic! A great way to find ordinances that need to be done. Unfortunately, with the new update, the hope chest program stops searching the tree after finding one person who needs their ordinances done. Please, Developers, fix this bug !!!and this plug-in would be just about perfect!

Great App. Wish you could see how you are related to the people in your hope chest. Is there anywhere else to post problems I am having? Hope chest won't automatically open up my tree. It will only search two generations back then stops. What's up?

This is a great time saver. Don't forget to verify that the work has not been done before taking the names to the temple. To the developer: Please add the record number to the list. Also please allow us to choose how many generations or years to search. Mine often go back farther than this tool can search.
