Adds more colors to Google Calendar's color selection menu.
HOW TO USE:
This extension adds the ability to insert custom colors into Google Calendar events. Upon installing the extension, you might need to refresh Google Calendar for it to load.
Once the extension has been installed, you can access the custom color creation by either right clicking events (accessing the color palette), or double clicking the event and accessing the other color palette within the advanced event details page.
You can verify that the extension has been installed properly by the existence of an additional circle in the color palette with a plus (+) sign. Clicking on this plus sign should prompt you to insert a custom color defined by a hexcode (For example, typing 000000 will give you the color black. One recommended place to find colors is https://htmlcolorcodes.com/). Pressing "OK" on the color entry prompt will add this custom color to your color palette for coloring events.
You can remove custom colors from your color palette by clicking on the extension icon in your browser's extension bar. This will open a small window where clicking on a color will remove it from the extension and your color palette.

This worked for me. That said, the font is always white. Is there a way to toggle the font color to black?
Very glitchy and keeps resetting my calendar color, losing emojis I have in event title.
Works good! I hope this will be possible to synchronize with the mobile app soon. Now it's all red on my phone, which is sad, because that's how I use my Google Calendar the most.
It's a great extension, but can you make the colors to show more stable without refreshing page. And can you maybe make the color show also on the mobile app, it would be of Great help. Can you enable the choice to delete color we created? Because sometimes the color was created by mistakes.
doesn't work.
Yep. Doesn't work. Also. How about a color square/gradient to choose from instead of having to put in the hex code.
its okay. it does work but sometimes i have to refresh the page for the colors to show (instead of being all red). Doesn't work on the mobile app which is my biggest issue. I used to have an extension that worked fine both on the browser and app and I'm really sad that I cant find it as this seems to be the most legit extension i've found, it might be this same one just worse?
Doesn't work.
This extension sounds great but it doesn't work. I can add the hex codes and they show up in the palette but when I try and select on for an event it defaults to Tomato. When I went back to look at the event in edit and the palette the custom color I wanted had a check box. I removed the extension and added it again now the colors won't save to the palette. It managed to get worse. - 1 star Edit: I tried it a 3rd time the following day and it worked. However it now interferes with other calendar's default colors. In the sidebar the other calendar's color displays as expected but on the calendar they don't update. If I unselect my calendar the remaining items on other calendars display as expected. When I reselect my calendar the colors remain but none of the custom colors on my calendar display. Refreshing the browser restores the custom colors on my calendar but changes the colors on the other calendars back to a previous default. - 2 stars Edit 2/28/24 It stopped working an off of my events are red or pink. When I click on them the tiny box shows the correct color but not on my calendar where it matters - 1 star
Hey, thanks for making this and trying to fix what should not be broken in the first place, however it still could be improved upon. When I try to change the colour of a single event, which is repeating, it changes that events colour for every month. Can this be fixed?
