It works, but it has problems with e.g. German Wikipedia pages because of äöüß. And it's unnecessary because Google Chrome itself also has this functionality built in. Go to chrome://flags/#save-page-as-mhtml and enable Save Page as MHTML.
Completely non working for me. Right click on page, "Save as MHT," menu freezes and page is not saved. Tried all kinds of playing with the button and I could not get it to work. Frustrated me and wasted my time.
It does NOT work in Linux (deb). Chrome drops each time when extension starts.
Great extension, I am giving it four stars only because it always falls back to default download directory (one chosen in Chrome preferences).I realize that it might be convenient for some people, but an option might be implemented to choose whether it offers to download to default download directory or the directory that was last accessed by browser.Then it would be five stars.Still, great extension.

The best way to save web pages is as .MHT files and a full-page screenshot. Saving both ways is best.
Необходимый для работы плагин. Разработчики не хватает: 1) Оригинальной ссылки с читабельным кодированием национальных ссылок. 2) Скрин видео файлов на странице в графическом формате. 3) Возможность сохранения произвольного места, т.е. сохраняем то, что выделено. Исправьте пожалуйста: При наличии точки в конце названия заголовка страницы (возможно и в других случаях) не ставится расширение mht.
