If the extension causes slowness issues, especially in combination with large, preexisting highlight collections, I recommend *disabling* (not removing) the extension until an update is ready, unless you have a backup.
Read the support/help documents for more information. Please be patient, I'm working my way through teething issues as fast as possible.

Make creating ,viewing and managing highlight easier
Very handy and easy to use. I like the configurable options and the ability to set keyboard shortcuts for the different highlighting colors. Just what I was hoping for.
Works fine for me. Its simple too which is great
Doesn't work.
nice extension. works well
I prefer "Simple Hightlighter", because it works in the subframe of the page.
@Vitaly, quoting from the options screen: "Use the 'Keyboard shortcuts' option, located at the bottom right of Chrome's main 'Extensions' page (also accessible via the Tools menu)." This is a great extension that makes web annotation super easy and convenient. Two small things I'd improve: -- placing shortcut control within the extension itself as opposed to Chrome (as it was in Simple Highlighter), since now shortcuts have to a *combination* of keys (as opposed to single letters) -- allow for a shortcut to *remove* highlights. Otherwise, this extension is outstanding.
