The Great Suspender Reloaded is back on the Chrome Web Store!
This is a safe fork of The Great Suspender and The Great Suspender Original, with open-source code under the GPL 2.0 license and compatible with Manifest v3, which means it works in all Chromium-based browsers in 2025.

I originally made this version for myself but decided to share it with the community, so feel free to join the development. This is not my main job, and I work on fixing bugs and adding new features in my free time.

All trackers and external site requests have also been removed from this version, making it a fully local extension with no external scripts, verified by the Chrome Web Store.

Excellente extension !
Been using The Great Suspender since the IT Dept at Google recommended it for all employees...and it's been amazing ever since!
Works well in general, but since Chrome 149.0.7827.102, suspended tabs inside tab groups don’t restore correctly after quitting Chrome. On restart they open as new/blank tabs instead of the suspended pages, and I have to press Back in history to recover them. Please fix grouped-tab restore on startup.
Работает не намного хуже оригинального TGS (тот мог держать в браузере 3000+ вкладок при 12 ГБ оперативки), 4.5 МБ на вкладку. Самое главное - не пытается перезагрузить сотни замороженных вкладок при закрытии браузера (как "tab suspender"(25 МБ на вкладку)) что приводит к вылету браузера. Короче, TGS - это лучшее что на текущий момент есть.
