The Great Suspender Reloaded is back on the Chrome Web Store!
This is a safe fork of The Great Suspender and The Great Suspender Original, with open-source code under the GPL 2.0 license and compatible with Manifest v3, which means it works in all Chromium-based browsers in 2025.

I originally made this version for myself but decided to share it with the community, so feel free to join the development. This is not my main job, and I work on fixing bugs and adding new features in my free time.

All trackers and external site requests have also been removed from this version, making it a fully local extension with no external scripts, verified by the Chrome Web Store.

Please please fix the dark version. Works amazing overall. Was using the fork until it was no longer supported.

Works great, and has option to work with Chrome's built-in memory, saving a lot more memory, than traditional suspenders. Thanks!
Tabs aren't being automatically suspended after 10min, also dark theme doesn't work in the settings it's still white please fix
Absolute 5 stars, thank you Developer!!! This is hands down the best tab suspender and also allows you to save your sessions on Settings > Session Management. P.S. If you were using the old Marvelous Suspender (or similar) and your tabs won't open with the new Chrome update, it's easy to re-open your tabs. Go to the URL address bar and scroll to the right until you see "uri=https..." just highlight everything to the left of https and delete. Then your tab will reappear!

Лучшее приложение. Давно им пользуюсь. Сейчас после всех обновлений хрома старая версия перестала работать и я потерял все открытые вкладки (70 штук). Случайно нашёл ссылку на обновлённую версию, но старую сессию уже увы никак не восстановить. Поэтому просьба, сделайте, пожалуйста, функционал, чтобы сессии периодически сохранялись автоматом на компе, чтоб в случае таких поломок они никуда не потерялись. Пока не нашёл обновлённую версию перепробовал кучу похожих приложений. Везде либо чего-то не хватает, либо что-то лишнее. А здесь идеальный баланс функционала. Приостановка табов и сохранение сессий.
