Remove the extension "LanSchool web helper "as it is literal spyware disguised as a school helping thing for teacher. It's a breach of privacy seeming as it uses your camera and records your microphone it also is illegal as we can't turn it off. One more thing it violates human rights

In contemporary educational settings, technology plays a pivotal role in enhancing learning and streamlining classroom management. LanSchool, a popular classroom management software, is often employed to monitor and control student devices, ostensibly to foster a productive learning environment. However, despite its intended benefits, LanSchool poses significant drawbacks that can undermine its effectiveness and even harm educational experiences. Firstly, LanSchool's intrusive monitoring features can undermine trust between students and educators. While the software is designed to provide teachers with oversight of student activities on their devices, its extensive monitoring capabilities can be perceived as a breach of privacy. Students may feel that their every move is scrutinized, which can create an atmosphere of distrust and anxiety. This environment can stifle student engagement and creativity, as students may become more focused on avoiding detection rather than fully participating in their educational activities. Moreover, the constant surveillance can adversely affect students' mental well-being. The feeling of being perpetually watched can lead to heightened stress levels and anxiety among students. This constant pressure can be detrimental to their mental health, potentially leading to burnout and disengagement. Instead of fostering a positive learning environment, LanSchool's monitoring features may contribute to a climate of fear and stress, which is counterproductive to effective learning. Another significant concern with LanSchool is its potential to stifle academic autonomy. Education thrives on encouraging students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. However, LanSchool's strict control over students' devices can limit their ability to explore and engage with digital resources independently. When students are constantly monitored and restricted, they may become less inclined to experiment with new tools and approaches, which can hinder their intellectual growth and curiosity. Additionally, the reliance on software like LanSchool can detract from the development of essential digital citizenship skills. By focusing on control and oversight, educators might miss opportunities to teach students about responsible and ethical use of technology. Instead of fostering self-regulation and personal responsibility, LanSchool’s rigid approach may reinforce a passive attitude towards technology use. This lack of emphasis on digital citizenship can leave students ill-prepared for the complexities of the digital world outside the classroom. Furthermore, the technical issues and limitations of LanSchool can exacerbate its negative impacts. The software’s effectiveness is highly dependent on the quality of the network and the devices being used. Technical glitches or compatibility issues can lead to frustration among both teachers and students, disrupting the learning process and creating additional stress. This reliance on technology can inadvertently shift focus away from meaningful educational interactions, reducing the overall quality of instruction. In conclusion, while LanSchool is designed to improve classroom management and enhance educational outcomes, its implementation can have detrimental effects. The invasive nature of its monitoring capabilities can erode trust, increase stress, and diminish students' sense of autonomy. Additionally, it can undermine the development of digital citizenship skills and introduce technical challenges that hinder the learning process. For these reasons, it is crucial for educators and administrators to carefully consider the potential negative impacts of LanSchool and explore alternative approaches that prioritize student well-being and foster a more supportive and engaging learning environment.

One of the worst extensions ever created. Makes working just that 50% harder with it installed which adds up over the years.
