Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!
Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.
Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///
Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.
Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

cool
Works 95% of the time. But sync options doesn't work. I keep seeing the options page, but for me - Once installed, I never want to see it again. So many buttons in the options page, it only needs one - my chosen page. Uninstalling this one and using a simpler one instead (there are a few of these in the app store now). The one I'm using now has just one setting - my chosen URL. :)

This was the perfect solution for me to put my to-do list (Any.DO using the Chrome extension) right there in my face every time I open a new tab. Two thumbs (and two toes) up!
EXTREMELY GOOD
It's very useful, think that it is practical because of 2 reasons: you don't have to go manually to each page each time, and when you open a new tab it doesn't appear the sites you've visited...
Works ok but every time Chrome is updated I have to re-install this New Tab Redirect.
