➤ Supported on Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ (and more coming soon...)

➤ Watch, Review, Recall all in the same platform

We’ll do the flashcard making so you don’t have to! Iago automatically keeps track of the words / grammar you’ve seen and has built custom spaced-repetition quizzes for you to recall the content you’ve seen so far.

➤ The only platform that tracks grammar

We believe grammar is just as important as vocabulary — especially how easy it is to forget part of the structure. Iago tracks and will display grammar on the content you’re watching.

LOVE This. Most of the content I watch are on Plex and Viki. Would really appreciate it if you can integrate these 2 platforms!

This extension is genius, and incredibly useful for anybody trying to learn the language and takes part of their media. This will help incredibly for language learning, and would be just as useful for future languages such as korean. It helps a ton for learning new vocabulary, listening comprehension, and more. There are an incredible amount of features that I doubt would be included in a free google extension. Such as the bookmarking words for quizzes, thats a super useful feature. And using Iago doesn't feel like work or homework, you just passively learn. I look forward to seeing this extension develop. :)

Just started using it but really excited to use it to help accelerate my Japanese language skills. Wish it was available on Crunchyroll even though I know it may be impossible considering Crunchyroll doesn't have Japanese subtitles.

I cannot wait for other languages to be added as well. I have tried other extensions for subtitles appropriate for language learning, but this one has the best user interface and logistics by far. Thank you.

my most-used extension. it's perfect for if you're like me and love to sit in bed vegetating, but actually want to do something productive at the same time

Really cool, found it through refold youtube. I will likely move to this app. Really nice how the words are seperated, and the quizzes are really well made. Some Feedback from my side: Just one thing that bothers me: I really prefer the way language reactor shows the subs below the video. For example hovering over the words with lago always triggers the playbar in Netflix to popup, which is quite distracting. This is not the case when I move my mouse below the video with language reactor. Also dark mode would be kinda nice on your site, I think lot of people learn in the evening.

i can finally start learning japanese in a fun and engaging manner. i usually hate opening up duolingo because it just feels like i'm doing homework - with iago it doesn't feel like learning, it's like watching your favorite shows with greater understanding!! netflix and youtube integration is great and blends in very well. can't wait for other languages (korean!!)

Alex and Zero did an awesome job at developing and running Iago. My japanese is being developed while I watch my favorite animes. I can't wait for what other features they are going to add next!

This feels like a fantastic way to bridge the gap between watching a show in Japanese with English subtitles and watching a show with Japanese subtitles. It feels super intuitive to use so far and I really look forward to seeing the ways that the spaced repetition and deck building tools based on words you heard in shows you watch will be improved upon in the future! The fact that the English subs are smaller makes it easier to focus on trying to read the Japanese ones and checking the definitions without spoiling the sentences meaning for yourself!

Really love this idea. The integration with Netflix seems flawless and I really enjoy how the kana are highlighted and separated to denote separate words. I would really love a toggle to show the subtitles as they would naturally appear in Kanji but with the option to scroll over and read the kana, or have furigana to help people recognise the kanji be repetition, this would also de-crowd the subtitles on the screen with less characters overall.
