This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

I used the previous version daily with no problems. Now I can't connect ever. I needed this app for my laptop so I didn't have to bring it everywhere. Please fix!!!!!!!!!

Love this tool. Works well. Great for helping your distant relatives with there PC's. Even translates touch from my Chromebooks screen in actions on a non touch PC. Works great from my android phone, my laptop, desktop. Just a great tool.
Rispetto alla precedente versione è molto lenta. per il resto la grafica è sicuramente più bella.
This web browser extension is very slow/laggy/choppy and doesn't seem to be working at all right now as it times out when trying to connect. The Chrome Remote Desktop App, which is no longer supported, worked great. It's very unfortunate that Google has decided not to support it any more.
