This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

The old version was working fine. Things are suppose to improve with new rollouts and better tech not get worse and break. Now i can't connect. and will not work for me at all. I tried uninstalling the extension. i rebooted my desktop. I even uninstalled and reinstalled chrome. Nothing. Thanks for the improvement Google.
Not as good as the old app and hasn't worked at all in the last three days. times out when trying to connect to remote Windows computers.
old app version is wonderful, web version is just better than garbage.

La aplicación funciona bien, pero me resulta ineficaz porque no se puede ingresar en otros equipos en modo desatendido.
I have been using first the app and now the extension for 5-6 years. Chrome remote desktop has worked perfectly as long as the other computer is on (not hibernating) and hooked to internet, works wayyyy better than Logmein ever did (I used for 3 years) and Chrome is free. I never use the "support" side of it, only the remote desktop.

I love chrome remote desktop APP for many years until now. This version give me very bad user experience because of the really poor latency performance.
Пропал список моих устройств. Как я должен теперь заходить на свой удалённый компьютер? Доехать до него и получить код, а потом вернуться обратно и ввести этот код в приложение? Жесть :(
What the hell happened? I used to used remote desktop constantly to access my work computer from the road! I can't figure out how to connect to it even though I see it's online. Way to screw up a good thing.
