With the Stream Recorder, you can easily save live and archived videos that are delivered in a typical HLS (m3u8) format.
Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.
Please note that Stream Recorder is not responsible for media content which you download, so we suggest to ensure the copyright and permissions of the media before downloading.

Worked great for a long time but now capture mode isn't working properly. Please rollback the changes to capture mode or offer a way of getting previous versions of this extension. The new updates are untested/unchecked.
It works but at the same time it fails a lot(especially when recording larger files). When the stream loses connection but regains it again, the recorder resumes recording. But at the end when you hit the "Save" button, it shows "Failed - Network Error". The recorded files are right there in the browser but it just can't be extracted. Can anybody tell me how we can extract the file via any other means? By the way, after the recent upgrade the option for choosing the resolution also stopped working as conveniently like it used to before. It is a free extension and I should be grateful but it just frustrates me because it is so close to being perfect if it were not for that one minor problem. But still lots of gratitude and thanks to the developers for making it free. Hopefully things will get resolved after upcoming upgrades.
Brilliant, it works where several others could not perform properly. One suggestion would be the ability to save after a certain length of recording.
Very good extension. I been trying many of them. This one just that solved my issue!

自动升到了1.3.1 然后就完全下不了视频了，也抓不了nico生放送的源了。 这个升级的意义何在。 我想办法降回了 1.13的旧版本，然后就可以正常使用了。
