With the Stream Recorder, you can easily save live and archived videos that are delivered in a typical HLS (m3u8) format.
Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.
Please note that Stream Recorder is not responsible for media content which you download, so we suggest to ensure the copyright and permissions of the media before downloading.

you absolutely made a god addon , non of the other worked on a famous website legal issue , but this worked like charm, i hope its keep working .
使いかたわかんない
I tried "Stream Video Recorder", "Video Downloader Plus" and "Video Downloader professional" before this on one particular video and none of them worked. This one did. Nuff said!
Great extension. I was trying to find an HLS downloader because of the limit in Video Download Helper, and this one works flawlessly without any adverts or restrictions. Kudos to the Devs.
Useless, doesn't download hls encrypted streams.

It's a great extension but I have one problem which is that it downloads in 15 sec or 1 min parts. I don't like it. Please make it record entire video in one time in one video. For this this reason, I give it 1 star. Please please fix this.
Fantastic! Can it deal with 1080p or higher quality? I recorded an 1080p video and it was transferred to 720p.
