With the Stream Recorder, you can easily save live and archived videos that are delivered in a typical HLS (m3u8) format.
Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.
Please note that Stream Recorder is not responsible for media content which you download, so we suggest to ensure the copyright and permissions of the media before downloading.

This one is the best there is- ACTUALLY worked for its purpose, all the others didn't for me. Made me so happy. Easy to use too. 11/10, definitely worth,

Nearly perfect. Just needs an option that if you get multiple video files of one video in "Rec Mode" and you save one, that one should automatically be removed from the list and also erased from the RAM. Other wise you have to F5 to get free RAM again.
Actually works unlike EVERY other one I have tried!!
Does What others don't. It opens a separate tab for each download, and shows a preview image of the video.
Gets stuck after it collected all blocks - shows ! 688/688 (whatever the total number of blocks is) - both [Pause] and [Resume] are "grayed out" (actually a light blue - showing that buttons are not clickable). Have them in 5 tabs while writing this !!! IT MISSES IT'S OWN END OF "stream" - probably waiting on some kind of "edn delimiter" from the streaming server and never getting it - becayce the server is not obliged to sen anything past the last block - the player knows how to count and so should this extension !!!! Yesterday same happened in "live" mode - 2h sitting and waiting and then getting a "deadlocked" zilch !!!!!!!!! ADD A BUTTON To FORCE "SAVE" ==> to dump on disk whatever was collected. The data is in memory - you extension just "missed the end" :-[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[
I got an error sometimes when it finished crawled the video: Error.Please refer to Troubleshooting in detail.Try Capture Mode if necessary.(NotReadableError: The requested file could not be read, typically due to permission problems that have occurred after a reference to a file was acquired.)
