With the Stream Recorder, you can easily save live and archived videos that are delivered in a typical HLS (m3u8) format.
Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.
Please note that Stream Recorder is not responsible for media content which you download, so we suggest to ensure the copyright and permissions of the media before downloading.

Downloaded it, installed it, it doesn't appear in my top toolbar as an extension.

Доброго времени! У меня сегодня выгружается без звука. Подскажите, пожалуйста, в чём причина и что можно/нужно сделать? Видео-источник хорошего качества.
Not recommended if you want to record longer videos. There's an 80% chance it's not getting saved or downloaded and that the whole progress will be of no use. So definitely not reliable, the devs still haven't had a fix for that after repeatedly raising concern. Still does the job to record short videos

Excellent stream downloader. But it's not support HydraX (Abyss.to) anymore.
Works, and is easy to use.
