For those checking this out, it 100% works. It isn't enabled by default, but just clicking the extension, the only option is a big toggle to turn on. Looks like all these people leaving the 1 star reviews took the time to write a review, but didn't click the extension even once to see the settings. Update: I noticed I'm not getting playlists in the search results, which is a shame. If that was added, even as a toggle, it would be perfect.

Unfortunately doesn't work for me even upon activating but turns out you can simply block such results with uBlock: ##ytd-shelf-renderer.ytd-item-section-renderer.style-scope
Amazing. Search is actually usable again.
works fine, most people probably don't realize you have to manually enable it by clicking the icon after installing also a slight problem, for some reason when i try to search for a specific youtuber only videos pop up and not the channels. I have no idea why this is happening but its really frustrating because this extension would be perfect if that didn't happen

Doesn't work at all, like many have said. It either should be updated or removed.
