Bark for Chrome is installed on the child's Chrome browser to help protect the child against inappropriate content.
Bark detects messages containing cyberbullying, sexting, signs of depression or suicidal thoughts, and many others -- without you having to spend hours reading your child's messages.
Bark supports dozens of popular social media platforms, along with email, and text messaging.
Children spend an increasing amount of time socializing online. Unfortunately, new technology creates new risks. Parents need a smarter solution to help keep their children safe online without sifting through their social media feed or randomly grabbing their child's phone and scrolling through their messages.
You connect your children's accounts and we notify you if and when there's a potential issue. This approach helps to build trust and an open dialog with your family around internet safety.

Bark.com SCAMMED my parents. When I was looking at what it flagged, they said Engagli [A SCHOOL program mind you.] flagged it as SEXUAL content, when Engagli is safer than Bark.com. to the parents: DO NOT GET THIS, IT IS A SCAM, IT FLAGS CONTENT THAT IS NOT SEXUAL.HARMFUL! Social networking my BUTT, he social probably means it's selling your information to companies to use it for their advertisement or something WAY worse. Just realized that 'protecting' extentions are annoying enough for millions of videos to be published on how to bypass them.
I tried using Bark for Chrome for school, but it’s super frustrating. It slows down my browser a lot, freezes sometimes, and blocks things that don’t even need to be blocked. The settings are confusing, and I never know if it’s actually working. It makes doing homework online way harder instead of helping. Honestly, it’s more annoying than useful, and I wouldn’t recommend it to other students.
dont get me wrong, filtering should be implemented on every school computer but this is overstepping it. keylogger, images dont load, websites take 30 seconds to load, educational sites are blocked like cmon gng
