Aeon Catalog Import enables library staff to import catalog records from external library systems directly into Aeon, Atlas Systems' special collections request management software.

When you visit a supported catalog page, the extension displays an import button that sends the record identifiers to your Aeon staff client, where the corresponding addon retrieves the full catalog record and populates the request form automatically.

Key features:

- Data-driven: The extension automatically supports any catalog system that has a corresponding Aeon client addon installed. No extension updates are needed when new catalog integrations are added.

- Minimal permissions: The extension only requests access to the specific catalog domains you use, on a per-site basis.

- Secure: All data is sent exclusively to your institution's own Aeon server over HTTPS. No data is collected by Atlas Systems or any third party.
