This is a game-changer for us. Love this tool. Only issue is that it sometimes disappears for no reason and I have to restart Chrome to find it
Extension is nicely integrated into the Gmail experience. Would be ideal if there was a way to add a new contact directly into Salesforce.
Updated 8/19/18: Huge thanks to Salesforce for updating this extension to work with the new Gmail. So far it's working very well and we'll be rolling it out to our staff soon. Original review: This was a great plugin until the new Gmail interface rolled out and we had to choose one or the other. Google's timeline for rolling out the new interface was posted a couple days ago and shows the current interface is being phased out over the next couple months. Can anyone at Salesforce give us some idea when this extension will be compatible? I'm concerned we might hit the deadline before Salesforce Lightning for Gmail is ready. It would undermine our organization's push to switch from Insightly (which already works with the new interface).
Pretty handy, definitely makes it much quicker to track things in Salesforce without having to be in there all the time.
Cirrus insight still blows it away. Too bad in a way because SF for Gmail is free. I will come back in the future and check it out again and hopefully edit this review.
All in all it's a good extension and makes things easier when using SF. We have had many issues with the sync lately which has caused issues with Gmail. Also, SF withholds so many features for the Enterprise level to make more money that you only get very limited features with Lightening. The biggest things that are a hindrance is: 1) You can't add a conversation to SF, just a single email. 2) If multiple people are on an email, each person can add it to SF so there could be multiple copies of the same email registered. 3) It often has syncing issues so you need to refresh or un-/re-install. Better than nothing.
Has made my sales life cycle shorter and smoother.
