The worst & most cumbersome of available video conferencing software. Why would you use this over Google Hangouts, Zoom, Skype? Why would you use this over a phone call? Webex is terrible. Please think of others before you use it.
This stopped working approximately one week ago for no apparent reason. The starting webex spinner just keeps spinning when I try to start a meeting. Webex, you really need to look into this. I've started using Joinme in Chrome instead.
Upgraded without realizing how horrible this software is. Ended up spending 1 hour on the phone + 4 days communicating over email to cancel the account (website crashes when you try to downgrade from Safari, Firefox or Chrome). The WebEx extension did not allow me the upgrade that I paid for so I had to cancel the meeting with a potential customer.
does not work on osx
This stopped working for me on Mac OS X 10.10 several weeks ago. Had to set default browser back to Safari.
Unfortunately about a month ago this stopped working in Chrome on OSX. When clicking a webex meeting URL, a tab opens up saying "Loading WebEx" or "Starting WebEx" or something but it just sits there. The WebEx application never opens. If I copy/paste the same URL into Firefox it works fine. WebEx opens and the meeting is joined.
Can no longer join meetings in Chrome, but works fine in other browsers.
Keeps wanting to reinstall itself. very bad customer experience.
Doesn't work anymore - hangs on "Starting Webex" and does not launch the Meeting Center. As a workaround I now use Firefox to access my meetings, but would like this to get fixed on Chrome.
disappointing. incompatible in everyway. almost missed my interview
