It's incredible that in 2018 Cisco, one of the biggest IT companies, hasn't been able to provide a multi-platform conferencing application while Google and even Microsoft have managed to do it. In the HTML5 era it's unacceptable to have to install a plugin which only supports some OS to access Webex when you don't need one for Skype, GoToMeeting, Hangouts, etc.
For all the negative reviewers, may I recommend 2 options. First use this extension for the video and either dial in from your phone or use wifi calling thru skype in the background. Second choice, more preferred, get a decent webcam and use the webcam as the source for video and audio and that can then alleviate the lag issue and webcam chosen for connections will then use the extension. It can call in thru the cam via wired, wifi or even with a bluetooth headset with a phone dial in works good, i've done all three audio methods and highly recommend the webcam with a good mic approach. By using skype for the audio and calling in since they run in separate memory spaces makes life more technically manageable. HTH (hope this helps) some of the more frustrated users amongst my colleagues.
I cannot get it to download on my MacBook Pro. It just cycles through the installation over and over. I either have to join via web or switch to a PC. It shows as successful installation, but never works.

It simply does not work with a Chromebook.
Does not work on Mac. Tried multiple fixes. Have to use phone-in to get audio and even then there is lag and shoddy signal. Would not recommend.
