Description
When you open a link in a new tab, Chrome opens the new tab in the background and provides no option to switch to it immediately.
With Tab Activate, new tabs open immediately instead of in the background.

Absolut unverzichtbar!
This extension seems to slow down chrome launch significantly. Try disabling it and launching chrome you'll notice the big difference.
Love it!
Love this plugin. I don't use the Chrome store often, I was not aware that there was a specific spot for bugs for extensions. I'll remove this part later, i'm putting the report in properly.
It suddenly stopped working
Doesn't work on Chrome 142. Opens links in the same tab.
Does not work on Edge 141.0.3537.99

I used to love this extension. It's still pretty good, but in recent months, it's opening the new tab twice (two new tabs). This has become pretty annoying.
Does what it says, and works well, been using it in Chromium and Chrome for a few years, and never had a problem with it, without it I would find Chromium/Chrome unusable, as with Chrome on Android, which is the most irritating browser available without it, so thank you to the dev for adding what should be in all Chromium based browsers as standard.
