Hide Discord Sidebar is a Chrome extension that minimizes the channels list into a small left sidebar when it is not in use and installs a button on the top right corner to hide/show the Discord server list. Users are able to customise the extension with the popup that shows when the extension button is clicked.

IMPORTANT: This extension is only meant to work on Discord in Chromium based browsers. Tested and working on Windows, Mac and Linux versions of Brave Browser and Chrome.

Great extension!
Works perfectly, and it expands upon hover which was a nice bonus.
I quickly asked Claude, "Why can you not minimize the sidebar in Discord?" It mentioned this extension. I downloaded it and the progressive web app for Discord that I had open immediately reloaded with the extension and the sidebar gone works perfectly.
It does the thing.
i love it yay now i can chat with my e kittens simultaneously
works but when the channel list is minimized I can't get to settings other than clicking on my profile. only issue. please extend it to full size when I hover the bottom right menu with profile, mule mic and speakers, and settings.

Hi there, I'm currently using the extension in Opera GX. It works on a normal browser tab, but not when I open Discord through the sidebar. I'm not sure if it's because the sidebar version of Discord is different but it shouldn't be that way.
Broken now due to new discord update pls fix
