Hide Discord Sidebar is a Chrome extension that minimizes the channels list into a small left sidebar when it is not in use and installs a button on the top right corner to hide/show the Discord server list. Users are able to customise the extension with the popup that shows when the extension button is clicked.

IMPORTANT: This extension is only meant to work on Discord in Chromium based browsers. Tested and working on Windows, Mac and Linux versions of Brave Browser and Chrome.

Great extension. Glad someone stepped up to do what users have been asking Discord to do for years.
An excellent add-on to avoid having the servers and channel list take up too much space; it makes Discord usable when the window is too thin. The inbox and help button is still covered by 'Hide Servers', but that isn't an issue for me besides being unable to close threads. Although niche, I have just one complaint: the extension doesn't work for the Opera GX browser's Discord sidebar integration, which is what I use primarily for checking Discord. Due to the GX sidebar always being a smaller window, I occasionally have an issue with the channel list being too wide, so this extension would be very nice to have.
for someone who doesn't use inbox at all and just lets the notifications pile up for some reason, I don't mind not having the ability to check it anymore anyways, it works how its advertised! good job :D
This extension has been GREAT! But recently, there is now a "show/hide servers" button that directly covers my notification inbox and there is no way to get to my notifications without disabling the extension. I can't use this extension until a change is made.
I love this extension and have used it for a long time -- but all of a sudden, the "Hide Servers" button has started completely covering up the "Inbox" button, and I can no longer access my notifications unless I disable the extension. I don't know what happened! Developer, can you help? ㅠㅠㅠ
This extension saves lots of space on my computer, discord does not deserve to hold the whole screen! Been using this extension for years and I love it!
