Removes all Shorts from YouTube
1.1.3 is out now. I still have to ask as it still reads as "This extension can read and change your data on sites." The row after reads "Automatically allow access on the following sites" but no words on change there. Is this still an issue, or? (Will update review when I know for sure what is up.) EDIT: For some reason, I had to remove it and reinstall for Brave to show it as https://www.youtube.com rather than the *://*.youtube.com/* that 1.1.2 had started listing. All is well again now, so also updated the rating. More than happy to recommend this extension for others, and thanks for your work!

Like those who recently added reviews, disabling this until it's fixed on the Chrome Store version. If possible, please reply to this review when this happens. So long as there's no "read and change your data" going on when re-adding, I'll remove and re-add the extension (enabled) at that point and change to a 5 star review. Before this change it was fantastic, so looking forward to the fix going live on Chrome Store! EDIT: After reading over the other review replies, it looks like this warning isn't going away. I tried 1.13 from chrome store when it came up and also 1.14 but they all still give the alert. I've changed to 4 stars to reflect that I'm still overall satisfied but very wary of that change and will be keeping a close eye on the extension.
I really liked this and it fixed my problem, like the rest of the people who have commented since yesterday I'm not going to accept it being able to read and change data. I've read your explanation and I believe you, but will you be putting an update/fixed version here? I don't download files from random github links... Five stars for function, but I won't be using it until this is fixed.
Awesome extension, I see there was an mistake made that has now resulted in the extension being turned off. I will wait for the update and reenable it when its fixed.
Can't watch YouTube without using this. これ無しにYouTubeは観られない。
i don't understand why this extension wants to see and change my data on YouTube??? u said in the reviews that you dont store them but please explain why do u need them
I was using this and it worked great. Latest update added a read and change data for this extension. Why is seeing and changing my data on YouTube necessary? Uninstalled now.
Developer released an update that did nothing except read and modify your data on all YouTube.com pages. What is the reason for that? Extension works perfectly for me but I'm not accepting new terms. Uninstall untill he removes reading and modifing data. Edit: Author fixed error so I'm changing my review. It's 5/5 now.
Sigh... YouTube, as always, makes the stupidest decisions and sticks with them. Some may be clear, like injecting more ads into everything you do on YouTube. This is because, nowadays, every big company is racing to become the greediest. But some decisions are really weird—to the point where I sometimes think it's a bug, not a feature. Like how YouTube slowly decreases the number of videos per row on the main page—why? I found an extension and was really happy about it, since it could fix the issue. However, the developer soon released an update that did nothing except read and modify your data on all YouTube.com pages. Why? Just why? This serves no purpose other than showing how greedy and irresponsible a developer you are. I usually don't read terms of service or privacy policies because they're too long, but believe me, I will with this one. I don't want anyone to spy on what I do on YouTube. You could've at least told us exactly what your extension does. Will it inject more ads into YouTube? Will it create a phishing interface? Will it secretly sell my data to advertisers? Or could it simply change the number of rows? I'm definitely uninstalling this unless you either completely remove the feature or clearly explain what it will do.
