Perfect
After my YouTube homepage updated today, I could only see three giant thumbnails, it was quite obnoxious. This extension worked wonderfully, and there are good customization options available too. I'm still deciding between 5 and 6 thumbnails per row, but it's so nice to actually have the choice! Side note, I'm also running a "Remove YouTube Shorts" extension and these two extensions seem to play nicely together, which was a huge plus.

i guess i just got the update that changes the home page to giant thumbnails, immediately went on a hunt for a solution. very glad to say this extension works perfectly, tysm to the developer/s <3<3<3
