nice
It works... But it doesn't cut the streaming. I see the CNN video blocked, that's great, but heavy data is still pumped from my phone [ active video buffer ]. Is there a way to cut *all* streaming from a page, and allow the user to click somewhere to allow the streaming to start? That would be awesome.
Works great except there is no way to block Youtube from auto-playing.
Very useful to me, and makes my browsing experience much better. Where it is appreciated the most, is when trying to read the news from various sites. All news sites have auto-play video loaded. I can actually read the news again without constantly clicking to close annoying auto-play video. Some of us out there prefer to read the news, and interpret/understand it. Not be pushed video content
This extension has VASTLY improved my browsing experience. In several months of usage I've yet to encounter an embedded video that was not blocked. Thanks so much for creating this.
Haven't noticed whether it actually downloads the video or not as Stephen said, but I suppose that's a weakness. However, since today's internet has autoplay videos on just about every news article, this is still extremely useful to me.
we've used this ext for 2 weeks now. plowman is a blessing. we use financial public sites and plowman's vid blocker makes the url's behave as they should. can't thank you enough for your efforts. and, thanks to chrome as well.
Can't find any way to block specific youtube channels, only the youtube domain.
First time, something works! Many thanks!
Only one of several that works rude videos auto playing. Even works on jwplayer which most blockers, even Google chrome://flags/ seems to have issues stopping. Thank you :)
