Tried a different extension which didn't work. This one does, though so far I've only tried it on one site.
Simple and works great. It's able to individually allow video auto play on a per-site basis.
Blocks most videos but not all - example of one video it didn't block - https://pitchfork.com/thepitch/how-to-dig-for-music-without-spotify/
IT SEEMS TO WORK WELL ON CHROME. It blocks all videos and I unblock the websites I want by clicking on the extension icon. ONLY MISSING AN OPTION to paste your list of websites that you want to unblock, it would be faster than unblocking all 1 by 1. THANK YOU ! - - - - -
As others have mentioned, it does not always work -- seems like "msn.com" videos always play. But since Chrome is disallowing more and more of the older extensions, this one is better than nothing
Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. It's better that nothing after several blockers got disabled with the recent Chrome update but I'm still hoping for a better solution
