I was put on to this online software by a marketing firm who wanted to make sure all their clients were able to keep complete record of their spend and earnings. And even though I am not a client of theirs, it was worth the conversation just to find out about this gold mine product. The amount of information and breakdown of all your income and spending streams is mind boggling, and yet at the same time very user friendly and understandable. It is clear that the founder (Eiri) new what authors needed and how to design something extremely eye-catching. I’ve seen and used other similar types of software, and none have come close to matching the versatility of this tool. Most require you to download daily .csv files to fill in the information with, but Eiri has created something seamless that allows for automatic pulls of all your information from Amazon sales revenue to Ads data from Amazon and Facebook. They are also in the process of testing ACX pulls as well to bring in our audio sales data. Eiri has quite a full year of additions coming that will make this a go-to for all indies. It looks like he will be giving authors the ability to pull from all the major retailers, not including setting it up so those of us who sell direct from our websites will be able to garner that data as well. I’m very excited about where this is going and look forward to seeing how far he can take it.

Great dashboard with a lot of customizations available. I admit that I have spent a bit of time for the initial setup with the different cookies but the result is totally worth. I especially like to have the possibility to immediately monitor the net profit over the day/month. Once you start using it, all the features may look overwhelming but luckily there is the possibility of selecting the ones you want. Different publishers, different needs I guess. And also great support, friendly and available. They are continuously improving based on our feedbacks, bravo!

One of the best tools ever. Before, we had to enter everything manually using Google Sheets, which took us 3-5 hours a week. Now we use KDP Champ and have maximum control and overview. I can recommend it to anyone who is really serious about KDP.

Fabulous for high-level and detailed looks at KDP book data and ad spend. Extremely simple, took about 6 minutes to get my accounts synced, up, and running if I remember right. They are working on going wide for 2024 as well! For me, the top-level view of ad spend vs. royalties alone makes it worthwhile for the sheer ease and convenience (now I can avoid FB Ads Manager that much more...). The price is extremely reasonable for the time it saves me and I happily subscribed for the annual plan. Basically this is the data analysis tool OF MY DREAMS and it only keeps getting better!! They have less in-depth views and you can ignore all the nitty-gritty numbers if that's not your thing, but if you also love numbers... KDPChamp has you covered with so many beautiful charts and graphs and options to customize and dig into data. Color customization, dark mode, year-over-year comparisons, series sell-through info, and way, way more. I love it so much I am abandoning my beloved spreadsheets. No longer do I need to calculate how many full book reads XYZ page reads equals for a given book, because this will do it for me, for any book I choose, for any date range I care to look at. I can get a simple, at-a-glance view of ad spend vs. royalties, not to mention so many other graphs (some of which I did not know I needed, so thank you for that) and the ability to add events on the calendar and then overlay them on the charts is fantastic for immediate, visual display of the impact on running a promo. The customer support is wicked good too, the founder is super responsive to user questions and actively works user requests and feedback into the application. It is easy to use, beautiful, and functional whether you only ever look at the Net Profits chart and nothing else, or dig in to customize a book stats graph to display exactly what you want like the data for 4 specific books out of 20 published, in audio only, using the 14 of 20 columns you care about, for a 55-day date range, only in the UK marketplace. You can re-order the columns, too 😊
