This extension helps you monitor how much of your Claude usage quota remains. It calculates token consumption from various sources including uploaded files, project knowledge, chat history, and AI responses. It will also send a notification when your usage limits have been replenished (if the site notified you that you were about to run out).
Most elements in the chat UI (Namely the length, cost, estimate, caching status) have a tooltip explaining them further! Be sure to check them out.
The extension tracks token usage from:
- Files - Documents uploaded to chats or synced via Google Drive, Github, etc
- Projects - Knowledge files and custom instructions
- Personal preferences - Your configured settings

Very useful tool
It is very useful. I have directives in place to always pick the path of least usage but Claude doesn't always listen. Last night for example after leaving a task open and having dinner and being away from my computer I hopped on the windows desktop version without thinking how long the thread was and how long it's been sitting idle and how much context was going to be needed to answer a very simple question. Claude answered and my usage for the session shot up 40% and I was already teetering towards the cap on weekly but that just shot me to 99%. Had I been in the browser version I would have seen how many tokens this was going to burn and my percentages and would not have asked that question in that current thread. Lesson learned but the app/extension is a must have if you are using Claude and don't like being metered or timed out in the middle of a project/task.

Great and extremely useful addon. Very accurate plus flags peak hours and time to reset.
