You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

Now I can stop to waste my time. I will try to recommend it to everyone who is willing to stop wasting time.
I like this extension, but there are a few features that I think could improve it. For example: An initial set-up feature, letting you actually set up things like "active hours" and have them take effect immediately (maybe as a tutorial? explain what each feature does and give you an option to "set up now to activate immediately"). I understand the time-cheat concern that causes these changes to not take effect for 24 hours, but I wanted to be able to access my email and facebook after a certain time on day 1, and it wouldn't let me, so I had to remove them from my blocked sites, instead, meaning that the extension was useless to me until the day after I installed it (when I put them back in the block list because my active hours were functioning the way I wanted them). I would also love the option to have it allow me to change things so that I can give myself a 10-minute time limit on facebook, then it blocks it and won't let me on for an hour or two, instead of preventing access for the rest of the day (This way, active hours could even be 24-7, but still allow timed access to favorite time-sucking websites every few hours). I would also love to have temporary-blocked sites. When I'm writing, I can sometimes waste time on certain sites that are actually useful when I'm not writing (email, for example. When you use your email for business, you need to be able to access it without time limits, but I also want to be able to block it for a set time when I'm writing). I'd like to only block them when I set nuclear mode, but not give them a daily time limit. Overall, I would recommend this, but keep in mind that, as of right now, you'll probably want to set up active times and dates today and use it/add blocked sites to it tomorrow.
Memory usage is too many. This low-spec PC will freeze immediately.
Simply amazing!
is there any way to stop myself from removing it from chrome?
good extension
This is a great tool for curbing the procrastination and limiting the amount of time I waste. I use it at work, and it's been wonderful. However, one suggestion would be a 'lunch hour' feature. While from 9-5pm I want limit my 'break time' surfing to a minimum, during lunch I'm free to surf. There is a start and end time, would it be possible to set a range, like from 9-12, and 1-5?
It is verry good.
Being refused to look onto Reddit for more than 10min/day... tough. But necessary.
