While it is beneficial to be unable to change times until the next day, it was incredibly unhelpful to me. I wasn't able to extend any of my times for studying. When the timer was up, I wasn't tired and wanted to continue studying, but I could not extend my time. And what did i do, I went on facebook and youtube for two hours :( fail
I don't usually review things... ever... but I have to say, the recent update and humorous comments that came with it made me chuckle. Stayfocused has saved my life in college. Go transfusion go!

it was alright until I realised that i can easily change the blocked sites and escape the nuclear option by deleting the app. also when it directed me to the article on procrastination i started to procrastinate by reading the article.

Just a tiny step from perfect! Very helpful. That tiny step would be advanced options for individual blocked sites (on-off times etc. and more comfortable and editable list of blocked sites) - unless it already exists and I am missing something here.
life saving. It's ruthless as it should be. Also, if combined with the pomodoro technique, we're talking maximum productivity here. Just perfect (Also, to all people rating it with 1 star because of "huge problem", maybe you should have read the instructions and FAQs before using such a strict app. The solutions to all of your problems are easily found if you just browse through the FAQ section) *EDIT* i'm here several weeks later to say how much i still love it. Ever since i started using it even when i'm not really being productive at least i'm not scrolling endlessly in tumblr and facebook. I've bought 3 new videogames and i watched many movies in my free time, which in my opinion is also a way to benefit. You have 1-2 hours to spare, why just scroll and not do something new and fun at your computer (i'm not suggesting to go read a book or take a walk because sometimes you just want to sit at your computer). I've also donated and i recommend this to everyone. Just amazing.
I once tried to remove the blocked sites to reset the timers. Got bombarded with infinite dialogs that actually made me feel like an idiot for supposedly giving in. For that sole reason, 5-stars!
It works fine, but this extension would be better if I can customize it more. I understand though this app is supposed to push you to work in an authoritarian way :)
I just love this tool. It has saved me from feeling embarrassed due to untimely completion of important tasks.
