This is my third day using StayFocusd and I love it. If you spend too much time at work looking at Tumblr, Facebook, etc., this is the extension for you. It's highly configurable. I'm blocking a set of sites that are time wasters for me. I like being able to set the maximum time allowed on each of these AND the time period when this blocking applies. I'm going to use it for another week or two before making a donation.
Works really well and really helps with productivity.

This is used by other members on my family, and somehow (no one can figure out how) found its way onto my laptop. Now I can't uninstall it because the site the uninstall button is on has been blocked by the app. It can be easily gotten around by using internet explorer but a) who wants to us that piece of crap? and b)is inconvenient. I see how it could work for some, but my experience with this has been pointless and frustrating

I can't add more time to the timer, even when I haven't used up all my minutes! please fix! sometimes, I have to talk to my teachers online through facebook but my timer just blocks them!

This app is the work of god on Chromebooks. If you use a Chromebook for any type of productivity (as I do) then the app is fool-proof. If you hide the button, set the extensions page as a blocked site, and enable it in incognito mode, there is literally no way for you to get around it. It's perfect for someone like me who is prone to 'reflex-disabling' productivity apps. I always get work done thanks to StayFocusd, and will definitely send a donation their way.
