You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

It needs an option for separate day times, since I want to use it more at weekends, but still block after 2 hours time.
I had a big project due. I installed Stayfocusd and it work great, but everyday it would disappear and I had to download it yet again. Anybody have a solution to this?
Muy buena pero hay un problema cuando voy a la opcion de "Re-type the text below" en la opcion nuclear, especificamente cuando quiero escribir una palabra con acento. Me reconoce como que la estoy escribiendo mal
Life saver
Awesome! Stricter than my mom.
A fun little app that is also real useful. When I'm tempted to go on Facebook the threat of a countdown gives me just enough anxiety to stay away. (That red eye in my toolbar freaks me out too, which adds to the anxiety.) There are humourous bits too: after a couple days of using it successfully I increased the allowed time to match my appropriate usage patterns (lunch break, etc) and it gave me three or four warnings, including one about a kitten getting an electric shock. My one complaint (the reason I didn't give it five stars): I'd love to be able to set a 'lunchbreak' period (or time amount) where my usage doesn't make the timer count down. Lunches are different every day, so I'd find a start/stop button very useful.
Really useful. I just wish it had an option to set sites that only affect the counter when the tab/window is FOCUSED/visible. This would be really useful for media streaming websites like Soundcloud, Pandora, and Youtube, which people like myself use to play music in a background tab to increase productivity, but can become counterproductive only when focused on and browsing, due to distractions presented on the sites like related music suggestions or 'suggested videos' and such.
Muy bueno
Good
Anna Akana brought me to this (not directly, but she mentioned something like this in a video). I should've thought of this while I was still in high school. I mean, I still graduated, but I could've gotten better grades had I not procrastinated. Oh well. I have this now and I'll be able to focus on other projects ^^ (I'm gonna regret this in the morning...)
