You sit down at the computer, and you swear you'll be productive. Next thing you know, it's twelve hours later. You've checked your email, updated your Facebook status, blown through 200 pages of Reddit, read every article in your Twitter feed, looked up your favorite band on Wikipedia, vanity googled yourself, cyber-stalked your ex, browsed through all your high-school crushes' Instagram feeds, and lost a week's pay playing online poker.
What you haven't done is WORK.

Works wonderfully for when I'm in crunchtime for essays. I also use it to force me self to sleep, I nuke everything thus forcing me to get off. I usually cant last an hour off the computer when im tired without falling asleep. Works beautifully.
I love the nuclear option for keeping me on task. But you can't enable it from the taskbar icon (you have to go to settings), and whenever you change anything in the settings you get barraged with 2 or 3 popups, which is the most annoying thing I have ever encountered. I just want to block my sites with 1 click. Please?
Great, except a suggestion. For the 'challenge' you have to complete, you are able to just copy and paste the text. Can you make it so you cannot do this?
I trying hard not to cheat my way to facebook by avoiding other browsers. LOL But this is one truly amazing Mom plugin here. :)
It would be better if the "The Nuclear Option" can be moved out of the "Options" so that this function can be activated by a simple click. This is the most important function I think for StayFocused. I use it to create a clean, uninterrupted working environment in my daily life, but as I just said, it's a little bit boring to activate it.
I love the nuke option! It's really helpful. All in all StayFocused is pretty good, I just wished it had the same function as Nanny where you can have multiple time periods per day where you block sites.
StayFocusd has helped me a lot in my ability to stay productive, as well as stay away from certain sites. Unlike other blockers where I was always able to figure a way around the blocker (thus defeating the point of even having it in the first place), I can actually block the google extensions web page then hide the stay focused button, making it impossible for me to change the settings. The only thing I don't like about it is that you can't set the max time to 0min and you also can't change the page that pops up when you hit your max time. If those could be changed it would be much appreciated, and would make this the most helpful productive application out there.
Really useful! However, it does need to be able to allow for breaks and lunch hours where I want to quickly disable the timing and actually have some free time. Maybe it should popup every x minutes to ask if you're still on a break. At the moment though, I find myself disabling it during lunch before the timer runs out which completely defeats the object!
Great.
Totally does not work for me. Win7, 64-bit.
