Beep for Google Docs is a voice commenting and feedback tool for Google Docs. You can comment on Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, and Google Forms with your voice.
You never have to leave Google Docs to record or listen to voice notes as everything is integrated into Docs.
Why audio comments?
Giving feedback can be challenging. You have to capture all your thoughts but also convey them in a tone that's constructive and positive. This is a lot harder to do if you're just trying to type comments. With voice, you can more quickly convey what you want to get across and make sure the tone is positive and clear.

As an English teacher, this has been a great addition to my toolkit to send pronunciation recordings of difficult words to my students so they can listen and repeat! Highly recommend!
So far has worked really well - I tried simmilar extensions and this is the only one that has successfully done the job.
I love this app as a means to provide audio feedback on my students writing!
Outstanding for feedback on papers
Perfect for giving feedback to my students on their papers. Way faster than typing comments.
I am really enjoying this extension. I have a student with sever dyslexia who can now receive the individualized feedback I leave on their assignments.
It gives a 0005 error sometimes, but when it works it's great! Simple and easy to use.
Fantastic little tool! Very grateful it is free. Should be a permanent part of google docs, wish MS word had it as well!
Can I give 6 stars??!! Get this. Use it. It will change your editing/commenting/THINKING. Basically, my friend has dyslexia/dyspraxia and I'm helping him with notes and a google Doc. This nifty Addon plus the Chrome Extension enables voice comments in the margins of the writing and that's a Key way that he has of absorbing knowledge. I am eternally grateful to the developers. BONUS: because I'm trying to be concise verbally, I wind up thinking more about the topics than if I just left a written comment; i'm sure you will too. TRY THIS EXTENSION!!
Great tool, it's really helpful for content work and sharing log reviews. Typing can often consume a lot of time. I've truly enjoyed it.
