плагин не работает в Google Chrome, в Edge работает. Как указали ниже, надо в настройках самого плагина включить опцию "Разрешить открывать локальные файлы по ссылкам", но ставлю единицу разработчикам за то, что они откровенно наплевали на пользователей. Надо переходить на другой менеджер, несмотря на то, что у меня он куплен.
Bin super zufrieden, aber nach dem letzten Chrome Update funktioniert die Erweiterung nicht mehr. Leider damit nutzlos :-(
Hat immer gut funktioniert, leider nach dem letzten Chrome Update 142.0.7444.60 funktioniert es nicht mehr. Es erkennt nicht mehr die laufende SafeInCloud Instanz. Unabhängig ob es Windows oder Mac ist.

Leider erkennt SafeIn in regelmäßigen Abständen keine Login Websites...man muss mühsam die App öffnen und copy+paste die Daten eingeben...
Works great. For those who are facing the issue that extension suddenly can't connect with the desktop app: update the desktop app to the latest version, and then remove and re-add the extension in Chrome. That fixes the issue.
Edit - I poked around a bit with the settings - I don't remember if I changed anything, but now the extension is working as I'd expect Original post - Nov 7 - 1 star - I've been using this for many years, and it worked so well. I'm wondering if the upgrading my mac to Tahoe 26.0.1 broke it somehow. I can still use the app, but the extension on Chrome doesn't work. Hopefully this is something which can be fixed.

Внезапно перестало работать. Ошибка: Приложение Safe не запущено на компьютере. Запустите его и попробуйте снова. Помогло исправить проблему включение переключателя в настройках расширения в браузере "Разрешить открывать локальные файлы по ссылкам"
Шикарное приложение, и расширение для браузера, пользуюсь на всех девайсах, от андроида до всей экосистемы эпл и windows
