Everything you need to view just jpgs on camera sd card (i.e. skipping *.raw files). Fast, images rotated as needed, and there is zoom and scroll to check detail.
I've also tried local galley viewer but this is better as it rotates images as needed. I'm on chromebook btw. You can also zoom (spacebar) and then scroll (2 fingers on pad) to see small details on image. As well as this you can limit what file types it looks at. Chromebook default galley will just view all picture types which is a problem as I save *.raw and *.jpg. The raw files are big and galley chokes on them and runs sloooow. This extension is fast and just perfect for the job of viewing pictures on holiday when I just have a chromebook.
Nice viewer extension. Would like it to support panoramic rectilinear file formats with automatic spherical image viewing and panning.
I keep coming back to your extension. It isn't always what I want, some formats it doesn't read yada yada... but i just refuse to delete it. It's a useful idea. Don't suppose you have any others? wink wink wink.
I am guessing that this app is meant for the Chrome browser running on something other than Chrome OS, because it doesn't work very well on my Chromebook. It seems to do less than the default viewer (Gallery).
A TON faster than the default "gallery" app. More bare-bones but works so much better. Thanks so much!
I finally found a perfect solution to a Picasa viewer replacement after Google's recent termination. Windows viewer is horrible. Hint: Windows users change default program for opening image files to Chrome. Many thanks to the creators of this extension.
The best of it's kind by far. Works with html files. Would give it 5stars if i had an option to turn of automatic centering (especially of text).
Perfect! To show images via Chromcast, or use Chrome as image viewer. No bullshit interface. --> No extra interface at all! Just open image file with Chrome. Done! This extension adds use of Arrow keys to step through images and Enter key to start slideshow.
Muy bueno
