Product summary

Review the store description, core capabilities, and common use cases.

AudioLab detects every audio and video playing across your browser and gives you control over all of it from one place — without leaving the page you're on.

It hooks into the Web Audio pipeline to compute real-time audio metrics and apply automatic loudness normalization.

FEATURES

• Cross-Tab Media Detection — Automatically finds all unmuted audio and video across every open tab. Shows the media name, source type, and playback state.

• Real-Time Audio Metrics — Computes windowed RMS, peak amplitude, and dBFS in an AudioWorklet on the audio render thread. Displayed live on each media card.

• Audio Classification — Labels each playing element in real time: Silent, Quiet, Normal, or Loud. Uses smoothed dBFS to prevent jitter.
