Awesome! I solved the backspace key going back a web page problem. Before when I hit the backspace key and I was outside the text field it would go back a page causing me to lose a lot of info very easily. Thank God for this fix!
been waiting for an app like this for a minute now! I have all my various web "services" paired to a hotkey in Chrome: Instapaper, Pinboard, Buffer, Bitly, etc. Because I hate moving the mouse/clicking almost as much as I hate IE6. Anyway, I was about to write a crazy hacky script macro to automate Chrome's "Pin Tab" contextual menu command (b/c there's no KB shortcut) but luckily I found this. I'd previously searched for a Chrome extension capable of this but none did what I wanted. This extension is perfect, and, furthermore scratches my OCD-must-clear-all-downloads-itch.

FINALLY! I've been looking for something like this for ages. Especially the option to switch to next and previous tabs with custom shortcuts. Simple and amazing extension. Confused me a little when I had to type in the shortcut I wanted to set it instead of just pressing the combination but it works great. THANX A LOT!

wouldnt let me stop backspace from going back, this would be a very usefull function for large webforms like ebays multiple order editing interface
Doesn't work at all on Linux. No Meta modifier.
