Edit: Difficult to get started, but it works. 1. You need to be logged into elevenreader specifically (not just elevenlabs). If you have an elevenlabs account you can't sign in to elevenreader with that account, or sign up to elevenreader with the same email address, and they won't let you use a + alias, so you need to use another email address. 2. As noted below, the extension only works on new tabs. 3. Neither of the above produces an error message so it's hard to know what's wrong. But I did get it working. Previously: At time of writing, this does not work in google chrome on a windows machine. Clicking the extension button has no effect on any site.
This app is not working on Chrome's Microsoft Edge browser.
Probably one of the best text-to-speech readers that I've come across. The quality of the voices is great. Really, really good. The only downside is that it opens a new tab in the ElevenReader dashboard to read the text, but to counter this, you can always move back to the current tab where the text is, and it will keep on reading in the background.

The extension just sends the text into web elevenreader instead of reading the text on the page and moving with the flow of the text by using a moving highlighter like speechify does it. Elevenreader has far better voice models, please add similar functionality to what Speechify does, as some websites are formatted differently from what elevenreader fetches.

De momento va perfecta. Hace unas semanas intenté acceder a la app web porque soy usuario habitual en móvil y no funcionaba. Ayer volví a probar tras intentar el lector web de Google y me encuentro con app web funcional y extensión de regalo. Gran trabajo.
